New imprint Aery Metals will launch this summer with a double pack from label boss South London Ordnance.
South London Ordnance‘s speedy rise through the ranks has seen his sturdy techno and house creations feature on the high profile rosters of 2nd Drop, Well Rounded and Hotflush over the past 18 months. A producer whose talents are equally potent in the DJ booth, it appears the time has come for him to extend that repertoire, with the announcement of his new label venture Aery Metals.
Launching this summer the label kicks things off with a South London Ordnance double 10″ release, consisting of original cuts and collaborations with Finnish group Femme En Fourrure and vocalist Brolin. Remix action comes courtesy of post-industrial trio Factory Floor, Chris Carter of Throbbing Gristle, plus Glaswegian party-starters Optimo. To mark the label launch you can grab the non-EP cut ‘Modular Splash’ for free, a track forged with all the rough-cut groove you’d expect from SLO. Stream and download below.
