Promoters Soundcrash have announced DOOM as the artist replacing the injured Gaslamp Killer at Low End Theory on the 16th August.
The legendary cult rapper, also known by his aliases Viktor Vaughn, King Geodorah and Madvillain (in collaboration with Madlib ) etc, is replacing Gaslamp Killer who unfortunately recently suffered a major road accident and is unable to travel. DOOM will be joined by the L.A. based club night’s residents; Daddy Kev, Nocando, DJ Nobody and D-Styles, as well as Mancunian selector Kutmah.
Low End Theory, which began in 2006, is a weekly club night that has helped launch the careers of Flying Lotus, Nosaj Thing and Daedelus amongst others, and is considered one of the most influential in the world. Although it has editions in Japan and San Francisco, the 16th August will mark the first time the night has happened in the UK. Tickets for the night, which are likely to sell out, are available here.
