Sonos present Vol.2 of their quarterly publication along with a spectacular line-up of events.
The second volume of Sonos Studio’s quarterly publication sees them celebrate London artists working in sound, music, art and technology, including Giles Martin, Hudson Mohawke, Yuri Suzuki, Charlie Dark, NTS, Random International, 22 Tracks, Abbey Road Studios and more. The Sonos Studio, opening in London this September, has been described as an ‘acoustically tunable space that will adapt to a continuously evolving programme of listening events, exhibitions, performance, workshops, artist talks and screenings’.
Sonos Studio will host an exhibition this Friday August 14, that will accompany the new magazine with a day-long events programme. Featuring will be work from the ‘Royal College of Art/Sonos ‘SoundObject’ collaboration; a lunchtime hands-on art and tech demo from interactive technology artists Marshmallow Laser Feast and artist/inventor Yuri Suzuki, and a discussion with SoundObject/RCA tutor John Fass. There will also be a chance to hear Gwilym Gold’s debut record a week before its official release as well as an NTS takeover at Cream Cafe.
All events are free to attend and spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis
‘Sonos Studio’ at Protein Studios, London, EC2A 3EY, 14 August; open 7.30am – 6pm.
