Sonic Router Celebrates Label Anniversary With Torus Release

The Sonic Router crew marks a year in the label game with the return of Torus.

Having forged a rep as one of the go-to blogs for quality electronic music, Sonic Router made the sensible decision to move into the business of releasing tracks back in February 2012. With a focus on breaking new and emerging talent, the label has since seen releases from 19-year old Dutch producer Torus, Brummie beatsmith Wattville and the mysterious Hav Lyfe.

Now a year deep, the team are celebrating the milestone with another release from the aforementioned Torus. The ‘Yard Sale’ EP hosts three beats from the man himself, with the stripped down ambience of ‘2mmrw’ and ‘Leaves’ giving way to the intense drum work of ‘Shallow Depth’. Remix action comes from Parisian producer Dream Koala and Californian artist Spaceghost. Keep an ear out for another Torus release on the way, the ‘Feeel’ EP, scheduled for release in June.
