This free festival offers 18-25 year olds the opportunity to showcase their talent and sell business ideas
summer of somewhereto_ is a three week long festival celebrating young people doing innovative and inspiring things in amazing spaces. With six locations across the UK, the festival will take place from 10-31st of July.
Aberystwyth, Antrim, Glasgow, Lancaster, Leicester and London’s Peckham will host a variety of one-off events which will include live music, dance and theatre performances, open mic sessions, pop-up market stalls and more.
Mentoring and tailored workshops will play a significant role at the events, encouraging young people to gain new skills and endorsements through experiential learning. Nikhil Shah (Cofounder of Mixcloud), Fred Butler (Fashion Designer, Creative consultant for Selfridges, Nike & Swatch), Femi Adeyemi (Founder of NTS Radio), Naomi Smart (Features Editor at Vogue) and Faraz Osman (Creative Director at Lemonade Money, previously commissioner at C4) among others will be donating their time to help young people.
Professional talent scouts will be co-hosting master-classes and workshops to help youths establish best practices and skills for artist evolution, which young people across the six regions will be able to sign-up to online.
