For Secretsundaze’s day-night mini-festival, James Priestley and Giles Smith invite a host of house and techno’s very finest.
Headlining the day party at Greenwich’s Studio 338 is US house veteran Omar S, whose seasoned selection of Detroit sounds and bucket hat will suit the afternoon terrace vibe to a tee. Joining him is the inimitable Portable for a live set, and Eglo’s Floating Points.
First billed for the Coronet Theatre night event is the live show of Borderland (pictured), Juan Atkins and Moritz Von Oswald‘s new collaboration which saw the two luminaries of Detroit and Dub techno respectively excel on an LP for Tresor. Martyn, Tama Sumo, and Peter Van Hoesen will bring more contemporary styles, and there will be a back-to-back set from two of electronic music’s most revered label bosses Will Bankhead (TTT) and Ron Morelli (L.I.E.S). The ever eclectic Trus’me plays, as does DJ QU, Brawther, the man behind our recent SunShowers Mix Andrew Ashong and Moxie.
