London’s first all vinyl lending library opens in Stoke Newington on 1st July.
Simply named The Vinyl Library, the non-profit venture aims to stock its shelves with records from every genre and era in order to create a communal space for music lovers from all over the capital.
Offering free membership to anyone that donates records to their collection, The Vinyl Library will also play host to DJ sets and talks. Hippest librarian in town and co-founder Elly Rendall sees the library as a place for “vinyl lovers to share their passion for music with others and gain access to a world of records whilst still being able to listen to their own.”
Open for vinyl drop offs on Monday 1st July, those seeking more details can visit their Facebook page, or visit in person at The Vinyl Library, Unit 1, Foulden Road, Stoke Newington, NI6 7UU, London. Photo of the space below.
