Two British institutions of a very different ilk are joining forces on Friday night.
On the back of last year’s hugely succesful Warp x Tate event, Rinse FM are set to celebrate their milestone 20th anniversary with a take over of the gallery this Friday 5th December. Promising to be an evening, “exploring futuristic frequencies in music and fashion”, to commemorate two decades of the station using the Tate collection as inspiration. Highlights include performances from polarising PC Music star SOPHIE and electronica maestro Koreless – which will be accompanied by bespoke visuals, and a talk on the bridge between fashion and music featuring designers Katie Eary and Nasir Mazhar, Garage vet DJ Spoony, Hessle boss Ben UFO and director Rollo Jackson.
Also on the night are production classes from Mumdance, DJ Krust and MJ Cole – although unlike the rest of the event, admission to this segment can be obtained by applying for free tickets here.
Rinse will be at Tate Britain this Friday 5th December. For more details head here.
