RBMA are to stream 720 hours of live radio from Berlin between 31st August and 29th September.
In a celebration of the German capital’s famous nightlife, RBMA Radio will be broadcasting 24/7 from a space in Kreuzberg’s Wrangelstraße during the aforementioned period. Simulcast 12 hours a week on German station FluxFM, weekdays from 8pm to 10pm and weekends from 5pm to 7pm, the broadcasts will feature a wide range of high profile and emerging artists. Confirmed artists so far include enigmatic Detroit house legend Moodymann, Pampa records boss DJ Koze, disco-edit kings Tiger and Woods, NYC’s Falty-DL, juke luminaries Rashad & Spinn and London’s bass and UKG ambassador Oneman. As well as live sets from these artists, RBMA radio will also put on interviews and discussions over the nearly month long duration of their Berlin residency.
To commemorate their Berlin tenure, RBMA will also be throwing several parties in the city, with the first one taking place at Stattbad on 31st August. Bi Nuu will host the second party, featuring an as yet undisclosed line up, on 21st September, whilst a night at legendary nightspot Watergate will round off proceedings on 29th September.
Once the broadcasts begin you can stream them from here, whilst you can watch a video of Moodymann dropping some knowledge for RBMA a few years ago below.
