Preview Braiden’s slick new single for Rush Hour.
With only a couple of remixes to his name since ‘The Alps’ on Joy Orbison‘s no-longer-functioning Doldrums, new Braiden material comes long-awaited and with high expectations.
‘Belfry Tower’ is a winning combination of elements of house, garage and techno. In the same way Braiden does as a DJ, he, here, blurs genre distinctions in a subtle drum jam. ‘Paganini’ opens with a female vocal sample, but again quickly returns the focus to the hybrid percussion, and does so in refined style. Two cuts that sound ideal for DJs across the board.
Rush Hour Recordings, the Dutch label responsible for the work of Carl Craig, Dexter, Tom Trago, FaltyDL, Shigeto, Cosmin TRG and Anthony “Shake” Shakir amongst tens of others, will put the record out on black, 12″ vinyl. Preorder and preview the release here, and listen to his top notch Hyp mix below.
Braiden plays at Public House on October 13, RSVP here.
