Pinch & Shackleton To Collaborate On Album

Tectonic boss and West Country bass pioneer Dj Pinch has revealed plans of a full album’s worth of material with Berlin-based techno/dubstep producer Shackleton.

In an RA to accompany his glorious podcast for the website, Pinch (real name Rob Ellis) stated that the pair had been “working on a project that hopefully we’ll finish up this year and will see light of day as an album of sorts”.

The Bristol-based producer also stated his plans to follow up on his 2007 debut solo album ‘Underwater Dancehall’, plus his continuing project with Chestplate boss Dj Distance.

More to follow as we hear it, but safe to say we’re in for a wealth of good music from Pinch in 2011.
