The dj and producers are running, cycling and swimming all the way to Bestival.
Joined by their manager Adam Moujahid, the group will break down the journey into three parts. One member will run a half marathon from Morden in South London to Walton-On-Thames, then two more will cycle seventy miles to Southampton. Finally the last member of the team will swim 1.4 miles across the solent to the Isle of Wight. All of this is being undertaken to raise money for Leonard Cheshire Disability, a South London based disability charity that strives towards providing equal opportunities for mentally and physically impaired people.
Prior to Bestival (which takes place 4th to 7th September), the artists will be holding a fundraiser at Oval Space next Thursday 21st September. The event which runs from 5pm until 2am, boasts an all star line up – albeit one that has hidden under some very patchy pseudonyms. The likes ‘Reet 94’, ‘Pen Bearce’, ‘Malibu Steak’ and more will all be playing on the night, while there’s also the promise of drinks and food on Oval Space’s terrace.
