Recent Danny Brown collaborator Paul White headlines fundraising project Above The Clouds at Bedroom Bar Friday 11th October.
On the cusp of being confirmed as one of the premier names in alternative hip hop production via his contributions to Danny Brown’s highly anticipated ‘Old’ LP and his recent ‘Watch The Ants’ EP, White will headline the night with a live set. His blunted and psychedelic take on beatmaking is one of the many highlights of Above The Clouds [disclosure: a project ran by Hyponik staff member Josh Thomas], which returning from a near 12 month hiatus, will this time be donating all profits to brilliant East London homeless charity Providence Row.
Joining White in support of the cause on the night will be Submerse, the multi-talented British producer who’s Project Mooncircle release from earlier in the year was a real favourite, showcasing a slight shift in musical direction from the former Japan resident. Meanwhile, a genre spanning, party starting triple b2b set is supplied from Eglo head Alex Nut, Theo Parrish collaborator Andrew Ashong and NTS Radio founder Mr.Wonderful, whilst the bill is rounded off by an as yet to be announced ‘certified badman’ special guest.
