Some of the finest independents labels in electronic music will be flogging their wares in East London.
A hotly anticipated fixture on the calendar for discerning music lovers in the capital, this Saturday 28th March will see the Independent Label Market once again returned to the Old Spitalfields Market in East London. As always this first ever Easter edition is supported by the Association of Independent Music, with label debuts coming from the likes of Night Slugs, Touchin’ Bass, Church and Gare du Nord. The newcomers will join the highly diverse array of favorites returning to grace the market, with labels such as Eglo, Tru Thoughts, Exit, Erased Tapes, Brownswood and !K7 amongst the 100 or so in attendance.
Running from 11am through til 6.30pm, the London Brewers’ Market will be on hand to supply craft beer and ale. Check out a video from last year’s Christmas Market below for a taste of what to expect.
Meanwhile those who want more vinyl powered fun in London after this weekend are in luck, with the Hackney Record Fair 12th April set to feature a record cleaning service of its own alongside other attractions, whilst the Peckham Independent Label Fair is set to return to the intimate confines of the Peckham Pelican 9th May.
