Its set to be a case of North vs. South as Big H and P-Money clash at the sixth edition of Jammer’s legendary Lord Of The Mics this Sunday.
Starting out in Jammer’s East London basement back in 2002 with the now legendary clash between Wiley and Kano, Lord of the Mics has gone on to become an essential part of Grime folklore over the years. Although the instrumental branch of the genre has arguably taken the spotlight over the last year or so, the appetite for more clashes remains insatiable, with Grime fans eagerly anticipating this latest edition which will be the first to be filmed live. After seemingly endless disputes and wranglings, the two MC’s set to headline Sunday’s bout have been confirmed as P-Money and Big H, with the pre-clash exchange of barbs already firmly underway. Lewisham based OGz member P-Money has enjoyed crossover success riding Dubstep beats from the likes of Sukh Knight and is respected for his rapid fire dexterity, whilst Edmonton’s Bloodline Fam leader Big H is finally enjoying some chart success thanks to his feature on Meridian Dan’s ubiquitous German Whip. Expect plenty of disparaging bars about families, careers and alleged criminal transgressions (or lack thereof), when the two go head to head on Sunday.
Tickets for Lord Of The Mics 6, which also features a clash from Dialect and Opium, are available here-with the location and time as yet unknown.
