Outlook Festival have announced the first wave of acts set to play Fort Punta Christo between 3rd to 7th September.
Shifted from its usual timing across the August bank holiday weekend, the seventh edition of Outlook boasts a bevvy of quality headliners drawn from the worlds of Hip-Hop, Reggae, Bass, DnB, Dubstep and more. Top of the bill is legendary New York rapper Busta Rhymes, who will perform a ‘Best Of Flipmode Set’, taking in material from Hip-Hop’s so called early 90’s ‘Golden Age’, as well as a smattering of tracks from his forthcoming new LP. He’s joined by influential producer and former Gangstarr member, DJ Premier, as well as Jamaican musical icons Horace Andy and Barrington Levy. Drum and Bass is strongly represented by Metalheadz boss Goldie, Ram Records head Andy C and Brazilian selector DJ Marky.
Having appeared at the last two editions of Outlook’s sister festival Dimensions, Detroit’s Moodymann brings his uniquely delivered selections of House and Soul, alongside fellow Motor City denizen Andrés. Funkineven, Paul Woolford’s jungle leaning alias Special Request and Eglo’s Floating Points all hold it down for the UK underground, whilst they are joined by Outlook staples such as David Rodigan and Mala & Coki.
Tickets for the festival are available here, whilst you can check out the flyer with the full line-up below, where you can also watch a preview video.
