A forthcoming workshop is set to guide musicians through the process of getting funding to support their work.
Run by PRSF advisor Amelia Ideh and her company Put Me On It, the worskshop will offer advice to those seeking to get support from funders. Taking place next Monday January 20th at the offices of the Bootstrap Company in East London, the workshop will serve to ‘de-mystify the process’ for ‘artists, managers, booking agents, record labels, promoters etc’ who want to apply for funding, says Ideh. Ideh, who became a PRSF advisor just under a year ago, has helped the likes of Flako, Eric Lau, Tanya Auclair and several others accrue funding of nearly £40,000 since being appointed to the role. Check out her DIY Guide to ‘Music Fundraising’ here, and book tickets for the workshop here.
