The venue has roped in a host of big names for their second year in Greenwich.
The largest nightclub in the capital, Studio 338 – equipped with a heated outdoor terrace, enjoyed a strong first year in 2014. Now firmly entrenched in London’s nightlife scene, the club is looking to push on into 2015 with a bumper program of events for the first half of the year.
Next Saturday 7th February sees the club host a 12 hour special for its opening party, with shadowy Berlin trio ItaloJohnson playing for four hours to headline. They are joined by Deep House savant Fred P, Livity Sound man Kowton and last year’s breakout star Call Super. Manchester’s Sankeys are up next at the club, with their ‘opening party’ Saturday 28th February. That one finds Ibadan Records’ Argy joined by French House classicist Brawther in topping a bill stacked with floor filling talent.
Studio 338’s first birthday celebrations Friday 13th March finds BPitch Control’s head honcho Ellen Allien, Border Community’s Nathan Fake – who brings his mind-bending live st, and Workshop head Lowtec. Other highlights from the initial announcement include the return of Steve Lawler‘s Viva Warriors night 21st March, an all day Detroit themed take over 3rd May from Motor City trio Visionquest, and a session from Romanian minimal kings Rhadoo, Petre Inspirescu and Raresh 30th May.
