In the countdown to Christmas, Wavey Tones are set to takeover the formidable MS Stubnitz for a pre-apocolyptic crimbo party.
Since the disappointing events of Bloc earlier this year, the MS Stubnitz has certainly been put to good use, with a string of quality promoters hosting parties on the ex-communist fishing vessel.
This time round the enigmatic Shackleton is to headline on Friday 21st December, showcasing his mesmerizing audio-visual show on the front deck. Shackleton in this environment will certainly be something to behold. Joining the Skull Disco frontman will be talented newcomer Romare, whose distinctive blend of African-inspired sounds and footwork rhythms will also be a highlight, plus Berlin-based producer and film-maker Zan Lyons.
Naturally, the Wavey Tones residents are on support duty, as well as Stubnitz and Phonica DJs bringing the ‘apochristalyptic’ vibes. With a line up and location like this one, what better way to celebrate the end of the world.
