Motor City Drum Ensemble And Efdemin Play Dimensions Launch Party

Electric Minds host the Dimensions festival London launch party on March 2.

Motor City Drum Ensemble (pictured), real name Dani Plessow, has just bounced back from a self-confessed creative lull with the ‘Send A Prayer’ EP. Some time out of the spotlight, after his prolific early years, has worked wonders; the four new tracks being some of his most refined work to date and marking the start of an exciting new chapter. He is known for his DJ sets as much as his production; his DJ-Kicks mix CD back in 2011 introduced the world to his encyclopedic knowledge of house, techno, disco, soul and funk, something which translates effortlessly into his club sets.

Berliner Efdemin‘s two Dial Records albums and illustrious string of singles on Curle, Diamonds & Pearls and liebe*detail, to name a few, have made him a much sough-after act within European house and techno. He has split 12″s with industry heavyweights Sven Weisemann, Tobias Freund and Nina Kraviz, has released experimental works under his birth name Phillip Sollmann, and, 14 years into his career, is exactly the high calibre kind of booking we’ve come to expect from both Electric Minds and Dimensions.

Venue still be announced. RSVP here. There will also be a pre-party in-store at Phonica with MCDE from 7.30pm – 9.30pm beforehand, RSVP for that here.
