London promoters Broken and Uneven have announced details of their partners for the upcoming second season of their popular roving event series, The Hydra.
After a hugely successful first season which saw them collaborate with the likes of 50 Weapons, Ostgut Ton, Innervisions and Deviation to put on parties around the capital, details are slowly beginning to emerge about this year’s run. Today’s announcement shows them to be teaming up with Feel My Bicep, Eglo, Ninja Tune and Turbo as well as mouth wateringly alluding to the possibility of a UK debut for Theo Parrish and Moodymann’s Detroit supergroup 3 Chairs. They also reunite with Electric Minds, Hyperdub and Border Community amongst others, for what promises to be another season of excellent music.
The news follows the previous release of information on their opening weekend, which features two parties on the 24th and 25th August. The parties, at as yet undisclosed locations, are set to feature the techno legends; Underground Resistance, Jeff Mills and Robert Hood on the 24th and a Running Back showcase with Gerd Janson, Tiger & Woods and John Talabot on the 25th.
Details of the collectives/label partners and the dates on which they will be appearing can be found below, whilst you can expect further information on the series shortly.
