The Dalston party’s first anniversary will feature a typically forward facing selection of musical guests.
A radio show, blog and – since last April, a club night, Tropical Waste has been a byword for fresh and innovative electronic music in East London for some time now. Previous guests to their bi-monthly residency at The Waiting Room in Dalston have included Janus crew members Lotic and M.E.S.H, Bristolian’s Giant Swan, and Tri Angle affiliate Fis.
Over a year on from their first night, this Friday 1st May will see Tropical Waste return to The Waiting Room for a special birthday celebration. The first of a series of b2b’s finds Gang Fatale member Neana dueling with Goon Club co-founder Moleskin for a session which is set to explore every crevice of club land. Danish producer Kid Antoine – fresh from dropping his ‘Proximity’ EP on Her Records, joins label co-head Sudanim for another b2b set, whilst Endgame – host of NTS’ Precious Metals show, goes head to head with Lexxi. Bookended by sets from Iydes b2b Vegyn, and Sam Elsewhere with Tropical Waste resident Seb.
Neana, Moleskin, Kid Antoine, Sudanim and more play Tropical Waste at Waiting Room this Friday 1st May. Buy tickets here.
