A host of names and stage hosts have been revealed for the festival’s sixth edition.
One of the most respected and popular boutique festivals in the country, Farr Festival has grown significantly since its first outing in 2010 – although the organisers are keen to make sure none of the intimacy has been lost. Still at its original location of Bygrave Forrest in Hertfordshire, the festival will take place this year from 16th to 18th July.
The first raft of line up announcements sees Kristian Beyer bring the DJ’ing arm of Âme to the festival, whilst London clubland legend Erol Alkan, recent fabric mix contributor Prosumer, Running Back boss Gerd Janson and Autonomous Africa affiliate Midland are all booked to play.
Joining them are Hyponik Album of the Year nominee Leon Vynehall, Vancouver duo Pender Street Steppers, Ninja Tune’s Romare, Dutch experimentalist Young Marco and Panorama Bar resident Tama Sumo – amongst many others.
Exact details of stages have yet to be announced – although Corsica Studios, NTS, Tief and Trouble Vision are among the early names partnering up with Farr.
