Memotone Live At Sofar Sounds

Incredible video of William Yates’ recent performance at Sofar in Whitechapel, London.

Sofar Sounds is a “musical movement” bringing music fans together in secret living room locations to be exposed to cutting edge music from across a variety of genres. To date, they have held these pop-up intimate gigs across 18 countries worldwide. For more information on Sofar Sounds head here.

We recently discovered that our friend Memotone was the first electronic music artist to be invited to perform in one of these sessions and the video is now online. In this 10-minute performance of ‘Small Good Thing’ the sonic seer wows the cozy audience with his looping, off-kilter musical wizardry – check out the magic for yourself.

Memotone’s debut album ‘I Sleep. At Waking’ is out now on Black Acre.
