Martyn To Release ‘Ghost People’ Album Via Brainfeeder

3024 boss and one of modern dance music’s finest minds, Martyn is set to release his second album this autumn.

Entitled ‘Ghost People’, and released via Flying Lotus’ LA-based Brainfeeder label on October 10, the album explores a world of different themes from his debut ‘Great Lengths’.

As the man himself put it: “For this album, I chose things that are further away from me: the ‘Ghost People’ theme. There are references to DJing in general. Not the jet-set DJ life, but the old Paradise Garage DJ life, where people want to share and play the music they really love, regardless of if it’s trendy. Nothing fancy or flashy. Just back to the roots.””

The album continues Martyn’s explorations in 2-step, house and dub atmospherics, nicely encapsulated on lead single ‘Masks’, which was recently aired on Benji B’s show.

Artwork also comes from the producers 3024 partner, visual artist and muralist Erosie, which you can preview below, along with the tracklist.
