London promoters Need2Soul and Oval Space Music have lined up an evening of innovative live performance for their next night on Thursday 5th September.
For the night at Oval Space they will be welcoming Manuel Göttsching, the German musician and composer, for his first London appearance since 2000. Göttsching was formerly the leader of Krautrock group Ash Ra Temple and is also a noted solo artist, with his 1984 LP ‘E2-E4’ widely agreed to be highly influential to the development of electronic music. His rare live performance will be a chance to catch a unique talent at work.
In addition to Göttsching, there will be an exclusive UK debut from Schwarzmann-the collaborative pairing of Innervisions’ Henrik Schwarz and Frank Widemann ( one half of Ame ). As cornerstones of one of electronic music’s most innovative labels, you can expect Schwarzmann’s set to pan out in melodious and adventurous fashion.
You can watch a video of Göttsching in action below, whilst you can get tickets for this showcase of rare musical talent here.
