Madlib, Lone & More Added To Outlook Festival

The Stones Throw producer curating his own stage is one of the highlights from the latest wave of acts announced.

After announcing their first set of headliners last month – including Run The Jewels and Boy Better Know as well as an opening concert with Jurassic 5 and others, the team behind Outlook have now revealed an additional batch of more than 50 acts to grace Fort Punta Christo in September. Leading the announcement is the news that Madlib is to host his own ‘Carnival’ in the shape of a 10 hour take over of a stage – with the previously revealed likes of J.Rocc, Pete Rock and Moodymann joining him for the duration of the evening.  British House music meanwhile, is now represented by big hitters Dusky and George Fitzgerald, with R&S’ Lone also set to play.

The festival’s more bass leaning origins are honored with appearances from Shy FX, Congo Natty and Loefah – whilst other noteworthy additions come in the shape of D Double E and Footsie’s Newham Generals, Swedish Cloud Rap oddball Yung Lean, and Canadian Jazz fusion trio BADBADNOTGOOD.
