Soundcrash brings the seminal LA club night Low End Theory to London in August.
Whether ramming out the Airliner club in Los Angeles on a weekly basis, smashing up San Francisco monthly or taking over Tokyo quarterly, Low End Theory is a name utterly synonymous with pushing the frontline of experimental electronic sounds. Founded by LA beats legend Daddy Kev in 2006, the night has helped launch the luminary careers of the The Glitch Mob, Daedelus, Nosaj Thing and Flying Lotus, whilst joining the dots between classic hip-hop and the more futuristic strains of jazz, electronica, glitch, and bass music.
History will be made on Friday August 16th, when London tastemakers Soundcrash welcome Low End Theory to take over Village Underground. Lead by Daddy Kev himself, the full crew lineup features turntable maverick Gaslamp Killer, ex-Invisibl Skratch Picklz member D-Styles, Los Angeles veteran DJ Nobody, London representative Kutmah, and resident MC Nocando. This is not to be missed.
