Lovebox have announced the first raft of acts to play at their festival in East London’s Victoria Park this July.
Across two days, as opposed to last year’s 3, the line up is once again packed with artists from the world of dance music and beyond. The first day, Friday 18th July, features legendary Reggae selector David ‘RamJam’ Rodigan, Joy Orbison, Paul Woolford (playing under his own name and his Jungle influenced Special Request moniker), blunted out beatsmith Madlib, Brainfeeder affiliated oddball The Gaslamp Killer, and 50Weapons’ Doc Daneeka. US rappers A$AP Rocky and Joey Bada$$ also play live, along with the likes of German electronic supergroup Moderat and former Brit School alum Katy B.
The Saturday meanwhile brings Bonobo, Throwing Snow, Hotflush boss Scuba, Techno duo Dense & Pika and the Seth Troxler featuring quartet Visionquest to Victoria Park, whilst Warp’s Mount Kimbie also play live. With more acts set to be added over the coming months, the two days of the festival are looking to be heavily stacked with quality music.
Tickets for both days can be bought here, whilst you can check out a video of last year’s fest below.
