The newly opened space’s London Issue 001 daytime parties are already off to a flying start.
Having already hosted Maya Jane Coles & Friends, Alix Perez, and Seth Troxler b2b Loco Dice b2b The Martinez Brothers, south London’s new temporary cultural space Printworks is carrying on strong for its limited 2,500 capacity run until April.
London Issue 001 is a series of Saturday daytime shows running from midday to 10.30pm at the Printworks space in Surrey Quays. This Saturday February 25, Junction 2 are hosting Adam Beyer, who’ll play all day long alongside Joel Mull, Kevin Over and Reset Robot.
March 4 plays host to London promoters The Hyrda, who’ll be bringing Floating Points, Joy Orbison, Gold Panda and Avalon Emerson to Printworks’ industrial Press Halls. Nina Kraviz will then present Galaxiid on March 25, featuring Luke Vibert, Bjarki, and a live set from 808 State.
According to Printworks, “Each event will benefit from bespoke production with fully-fitted L’Acoustic and SB28 loudspeakers, custom designed mechanical lighting truss and over 100 lasers and spotlights to illuminate the dramatic industrial features.”
