This April sees the return of the second annual London Electronic Music Event.
February 2012 marked the inauguration of the London Electronic Music Event (LEME), a weekend for industry heads and up-and-comers alike, “all about bringing the London electronic music community together to collaborate, learn and share knowledge to make the scene stronger”. The event returns for its second outing on April 13-14th, at the new venue of Rich Mix in Shoreditch, for two days of production and engineering workshops, music business discussions, networking sessions and keynote speeches.
This year’s guest speakers are headed up by Goldie, who recently welcomed Hyponik into his home for an interview. The Metalheadz boss and DnB icon will be reflecting on his 20 year career in the industry and answering audience questions. Other speakers include Radio Slave, Beatport Berlin manager Daniel Cole, representatives from Soundcloud, plus a wealth of music business specialists imparting their expert knowledge of the industry.
Head to the LEME website for full info and ticket purchase. You can check a recap of LEME 2012 below, and an extensive talk with Ben Watt from Everything But The Girl.
