The first new material from one of dubstep’s true foundations, and a man who’s continued to forge his own path in the sound since his first releases with Coki as Digital Mystikz, has been found floating around the nether regions of the internet.
Ripped from Chef’s Rinse FM show, the below track is the first to be heard from Mala’s upcoming Cuban-influenced project, a body of work that was at first thought to be a remix for Gilles Peterson’s ‘Havana Cultura’ compilations.
A full album would be the second from Mala, following last years superb ‘Return II Space’ album, and if the below is anything to go by, the project is set to raise the bar for real dubstep yet again. More information as we get it…
