London Electronic Arts Festival will take over Tobacco Dock in March of next year.
After debuting in November of 2013, LEAF – the event curated by Bestival founder Rob Da Bank and Ben Turner, will return in 2015. For their sophmore edition 6th-7th March, they’ve joined forces with promoters LWE – with the programming centred primarily around East London’s Tobacco Dock venue. Talks from Nile Rodgers, DJ Harvey, Black Butter Records and a crew from Andy C’s Ram Records, form the first half of proceedings Friday 6th March, with the latter part taken up by performances Modeselektor and Kate Simko.
The entirety of day two Saturday 7th March, is made up by performances – as the likes of Anja Schneider, Chris Liebing, Luciano, Tale of Us and more play across Tobacco Dock’s three rooms. Speaking to Resident Advisor, Ben Turner describes LEAF’s mission statement as being to, “…focus people’s attention on London and the UK and we aim to work with as many promoters as we can in order to share ideas, artists, venues and push the message.”
LEAF takes place at Tobacco Dock 6th to 7th March 2015. For more info and tickets, head over to LEAF’s official website.
