Keysound Recordings Publishing London Photography Book

‘London: Signs And Signifiers’ is the result of a year long labour of love.

The book (catalogue number LDN058) acts as a retrospective of Nico Hogg, whose photography has defined Keysound’s visual identity. Largely unpopulated and focusing on neglected areas, his images of marginal London tell a story very different to that served up in the mainstream media.

Throughout the book, Hogg’s photographs are interspersed with text by himself and label head Martin Clark (aka Blackdown) – if this tickles your fancy, why not check out our feature with Blackdown from late last year, featuring more of Hogg’s work.

The launch event for LDN058 was last night at Doomed Gallery in Dalston, and saw vinyl sets from Logos, Terror Danjah, and Dusk + Blackdown.
