The Hip-Hop veterans and the DnB legends top the bill at the opening concert for this September’s Outlook Festival.
Widely recognised as one of the finest celebrations of sound system culture in the world, Pula’s Outlook Festival also has a unique trump card up its sleeve in the shape of its opening concert. Taking place Wednesday 2nd September in the city’s 2000 year old Roman amphitheater, the concert will be headlined by Jurassic 5. Reforming in 2013 after a six year hiatus, the group have won fans around the world with their playful approach to rapping. They’ll be joined by Mercury winning live act Roni Size Reprazent – who are due to drop their first album in 18 years later in 2015. Rounding off the bill are rowdy nine piece Gentleman’s Dub Club and seasoned Reggae specialists Trojan Sound System.
The festival itself – which runs from 3rd to 6th September, has already announced headliners such as Run The Jewels, Pete Rock, Goldie, Boy Better Know and others, with more acts soon to follow.
