Christ Hotflush are busy.
It’s pretty much weekly we have something to report on Paul Rose’s fast expanding dance music empire, from his latest solo album offering, to new work from Sepalcure, Locked Groove, and now the inimitable Jimmy Edgar.
Having signed to !K7 for 2010’s album offering ‘XXX’, the Detroit noise/fashion/electronica figure is set to release his debut single for Paul Rose’s Berlin-based Hotflush imprint on March 17. ‘This One’s For The Children’ is said to soak up the atmosphere of the German city, offering a “paradigm of dancefloor mayhem and futuristic sleaze”, and will come backed with a B-side ‘Switch Switch’.
An album is set to follow in the summer, but as yet, there’s no more information at this point. But for now, you can listen to some fairly recent Edgar experimentation below.
