2 legends of dub-reggae, Horace Andy and Johnny Clarke are set to meet in London this summer, as they head up a bill of roots reggae and live dub at the HMV Forum.
Andy, known as the voice of Massive Attack, and a prolific artist in the 80’s and 90’s, helping carve out a niche for early dancehall reggae with releases on Rough Trade, Jah Shaka and latterly, Mad Professor’s Ariwa Records. Clarke has recorded with some of the greatest names in reggae, from King Tubby and Prince Jammy, to Bunny Lee and again, the Mad PRofessor, also releasing a number of albums on Ariwa.
Taking over the HMV Forum on the 27th May, backed by London’s legendary Jah Shaka Sound System and the full Dub Asante Band, with Matic Horns.
