The latest line up announcement for next March’s Minehead weekender is stacked with big hitters.
Following last month’s announcement that promoters Bloc would be making a return to their spiritual home at Butlins, Minehead in 2015, anticipation has been high over who else would be joining the initial raft of acts booked to play. Today Bloc have revealed their second wave of artists, headed up by Moodymann, Joy Orbison and Levon Vincent. Techno names such as Rodhad, DVS1, Ben Sims, Donato Dozzy, Answer Code Request, Function/Inland, Perc and Samuel Kerridge further represent a genre that already figured strongly thanks to a previously publicised back to back from Marcel Dettmann and Ben Klock. The latter’s Ostgut Ton label mates Nick Hoppner and Ryan Elliott will also appear, whilst PAN affiliates Lee Gamble and Objekt will both feature.
Several artists who dropped acclaimed albums this year such as Dean Blunt, Call Super, Vessel and Clark – who will be showcasing his ‘Phosphor’ live show, are also part of this second announcement. There’s also room for a healthy helping of DnB at the weekender, with Source Direct, Randall, Doc Scott and Dillinja set to represent the upper echelons of the tempo spectrum.
Bloc takes place 13th – 15th March. You can check out the full line up and buy tickets here.
