Goldie is playing his first ever funk and soul set tomorrow in London

Witness history in the making… the D&B legend will dig through his funk and soul collection for one night in London.

Metalheadz boss and drum and bass legend Goldie will play his first ever funk and soul set tomorrow night (March 11) at Patterns Festival, which comes to east London’s Oval Space. Also appearing will be party specialists Love Kulture Project, who’ll be bringing a mixture of funk, soul and reggae. They’ll be joined by live duo KALA and the Dimensions Soundsystem, part of Dimensions Festival, who recently announced a killer selection of live acts and DJs for this year’s festival in Croatia.

Having released a deluge of acclaimed records over the years, heading up one of electronic music’s most potent forces in Metalheadz, and being awarded an MBE, Goldie has yet to conquer the world as a DJ of slower tempos and funkier sounds in his twenty-plus year career.

Tickets are currently priced at £8 and can be found here. To get in the mood for tomorrow night, check what happened when we visited Goldie at his family home in Hertfordshire.
