Houghton Hall-4

Glade Changes Location

This years Glade Festival is set to change location.

Following a years break from the festival circuit in 2010 due to cancellation, the popular festival is resurrected as a more focussed event in 2011 – “smaller, more refined, more colourful and more ridiculous than ever”. Not withstanding last years slight hiccup, the organizers of one of the UK’s best loved outings have returned with a stellar line up featuring headliners Trentmoller, Adam Beyer, Eskmo and more.

Now, despite contracts being signed off and deposits being paid, the festival has been forced to move location as trustees of Mansion House, Biggleswade, backed out of their decision to host the event. Not to be trumped, Glade have miraculously found themselves a new home for this year and the foreseeable future at Norfolk’s Houghton Hall.

Situated in a privately owned 5,000 acre Estate set just outside King’s Lynn, the new site offers easy access from the nearby station, with shuttle busses running between the site and the Hall. Set in immense parkland, the new site is by far superior to Glade’s previous home, with no fears of 2009’s flooding thanks to proper irrigation.
