The run of exhibitions and viewings in Shoreditch will resume this Thursday.
Starting out last year as a series of roadblock events just off Brick Lane at the G-SHOCK East store, this Thursday 5th February will see the ‘Art Sessions’ series resume with a private viewing. Emerging artist Luke Merryweather will be the subject of this latest event, as he premieres his ‘Quarter Lyfe Crisis’ collection. Documenting, ‘London’s chaotic environment’, the collection finds Merryweather working across,’mediums including collage, screen-printing and object presentation’. In his artists own words, the various pieces are his attempts at; ‘exploring, collecting and celebrating the ever changing, multi-cultural fabric of daily life in the capital.’
Entry to the viewing can be gain by applying for a guestlist. As well as the ‘Quarter Lyfe Crisis’ collection, attendees will also be treated to some complimentary drinks – and music from the Reggae Roast DJ’s.
