The Text records boss leads the way for new night MASS BASS’ opening party at privelege this month.
Formerly the preserve of exclusively House and Techno lovers, there has been increased evidence in recent years that Ibiza’s musical horizons have broadened, with the White Isle now home to nights catering to those of varying dispositions and tastes. The latest example of this shift comes in the form of new low-end centric night MASS BASS at the world’s largest nightclub (according to the Guiness Book of Records), Privelege. Launching Thursday 19th June, the first edition of MASS BASS is headlines by the perenially busy Four Tet-who is beginning to establish himself as a draw on the island following a slew of visits in the last few years. UK Hip-Hop act Foreign Beggars bring their dance indebted stylings in support, whist they are joined by the Parisian pairing of Busy P and Gesaffelstein.
Continuing every Thursday until 25th September, the series also features appearances from Goldie and Noisia during its run. You can get tickets for the launch on the 19th with tickets here, whilst you can find out more about the rest of the series on MASS’ official Facebook,Twitter or Website.
