The weekly Friday night at the London institution will be bringing in some big names over the coming months.
With a jam packed programme of summer parties drawing to a close shorty, Fabric have now cast one eye on to the final quarter of the year. Four Tet’s four hour set on an as yet undisclosed date is one of the headline attractions, although there’s quality throughout, with Hessle Audio’s Room 1 take over 19th September a notable example. That night will see the core trio of Ben UFO, Pearson Sound and Pangaea holding fort in the main room, whilst Goldie, Ulterior Motive, Om Unit and others hold it down for Metalheadz in Room 2. Room 3 meanwhile plays host to Houndstooth’s very own Call Super as he plays a three way back to back with Objekt and Ben UFO in support of the launch of his debut album, ‘Suzi Ecto’.
Friday 3rd October finds Roska heading up Room 2 with MC-DJ combo of the moment, Mumdance and Novelist, whilst Room 3 is taken over by broken beat crew Bugz In The Attic for the night’s duration. The club’s 15th birthday party is pencilled in for Friday 17th October – with the sure to be huge line up kept strictly under wraps so far.
Daniel Avery helms his Divided Love night in Room 1 Friday 14th November with the Electro sleaze of Jimmy Edgar and the homespun Acid of Xosar appearing in support. That night also features a Livity Sound take over of Room 2, with Peverelist, Kowton and Asusu playing live together and then DJ’ing separately with Rene Palowitz under his Shed moniker.
