Exit Records’ ten years in operation is minted with arguably London’s best drum N’ bass line-up of the year so far.
To mark reaching double figures, an assortment of the finest DJs in the game have been put together, a special showcase of the past, present and future greats of the genre. Of course, every good birthday party has a ‘surprise’ and this one is no exception. The night will feature the special reunion of Bad Company, dBridge, Maldini and Vegas (although without DJ Fresh), true pioneers of drum n’ bass. The legacy of tracks such as ‘The Nine’ and ‘Planet Dust’ still reverberates around raves to this day, and this rare reunion makes the billing that much more special. For Exit boss dBridge (pictured) the fun won’t stop there, he will also play one of his now legendary, versatile sets to showcase the direction his label has taken over the years.
The rest of the line up has something for everyone. Pioneer Fabio will be present playing a high-octane “speed” set; soulful, liquid vibes will come from the man behind Fabriclive68, Calibre, and the “Old Skool Classics” from jungle-turned-house producer Breakage. For those into the techy styles, Marcus Intalex, aka Trevino, Klute, and Blue Note legend Doc Scott will all be gracing the turntables. There’s back-to-back action from Krust & Die, bringing the jump-up with a Bristol dubplates set, Skeptical & Dub Phizix, and Jubei & Loxy. Completing the bill are Amit, who plays live, Fierce and Ryme Time.
With representation from Digital Soundboy, Commercial Suicide, Renegade Hardware, Metalheadz, Full Cycle and a wealth of the top MCs in attendance, true fans should be counting down the days! Buy tickets here.
