Be in with a chance to be selected as one of the first people to hear Richard D. James’ new album
To further the hype, Warp Records have announced dates for international listening sessions for Aphex Twin’s forthcoming album ‘Syro’.
Beginning next Friday, over the course of several days there will be a series of one off international listening parties where Aphex Twin fans will be able to hear his first new record in 13 years in its entirety. Attendees will be selected via a ticket lottery which will open for this Sunday, August 31st at 4amPST/7amEST/12pmGMT/1pmCET and closes Tuesday, September 2 at Midnight in each time zone.
Events will be held in, London, Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, Brussels & Utrecht. ‘Syro’, will be officially released to the general public on September 22nd.
Pronounced ‘sigh-ro’ the title is seemingly taken from a word made up by one of the producer’s children. Richard D. James has proclaimed it to be the “most accessible” of his works to date.
