Eglo Records announce details of their 3rd birthday at London’s illustrious Fabric nightclub, taking place Thursday 8th March.
Since their inception in late 2008, Alexander Nut’s and Sam Shepard’s Eglo Records has made a lasting impression on the music world, with the upmost in quality control and general family ethos of the label, it has been truly refreshing to have them around. To celebrate 3 years of existence they hit us with a birthday party of towering proportion.
After a successful trial run at ATP festival last year, Floating Points debuts his brand new, hand-crafted A/V show. Anyone who managed to witness the soulful wizardry of FloPo’s performance first time round will have had their brains fired into outer space, just like ourselves.
Eglo have also announced that they will showcasing the all new ‘Eglo Live Band’ featuring the awesome talent of Fatima, Shaunise & Olivier Day Soul, no further details have been announced, but considering the strength of Krystal Klear & Olivier Daysoul’s ‘Never Thought You Would Go’ and Fatima’s and Daysoul’s recent collaboration with Eric Lau, ‘Yesterday’, this is something to be hyped about. Eglo are also joined by Dez Andres (aka DJ Dez of Slum Village) who is making a rare appearance and set to bring fabric to its knees with his prime selection of soul-ridden jams. Arp 101 performs live with Alexander Nut and Funkineven completing a sumptious line-up of all things Eglo.
