The London club’s birthday celebrations will unfold over two days this May Bank Holiday weekend.
Opened in 2003, Egg London has become one of the capital’s most respected larger clubs – a surviving bastion of nightlife in the former hub of King’s Cross. Celebrating a dozen years in action this May Bank Holiday weekend, the club will be taking, “inspiration from the Chinese Zodiac and it’s 12 signs”, with two 12 hour parties that feature, “Chinese themed food”, and lots of Zodiac focused decorations.
Starting Friday 1st May, the bill we be topped by newly recruited residents Hector Couto and Cuartero, for a session of airy Balearic beats. Fresh off the back of successes for Madtech and PMR, British duo No Artificial Colours join the party, as does Off Recordings’ Thomas Gandey with collaborator German Brigante. Rounding off the bill on Friday are Amnesia resident Mar-T and Chilean selector Andre Butano.
The following day – Saturday 2nd May, brings Chicago House legend and Cajual records boss Green Velvet to continue the birthday celebrations. He’s joined by another new addition to the club’s roster of residents in Nick Curly, who’s groove heavy style is accompanied is complimented by a set from Drumcode’s Nicole Moudaber. Remixer extraordinaire Dimitri From Paris concludes the headliners – with an as yet unannounced special guest slated to be revealed closer to the time.
