UK techno’s finest lays down a mix of new and unreleased material ahead of his Fabric performance this Saturday.
Ben Sims IS techno. DJing since the acid house era and releasing tracks since the late 90s he defines everything that is pure and uncompromising about the culture he represents. As a producer of raw, machine-driven music he has never lost his integrity, and as a DJ he has never stopped raising the bar – his infamous 3-deck sets and inhuman mixing abilities have earned him status as one of the most sought after artists in the world.
This Saturday March 23rd he touches down in Room 2 at Fabric, alongside Berghain resident Norman Nodge and Swedish duo Skudge. Ahead of the event Ben has put together a 17-track ‘mini mix’ of his new and unreleased tracks, featuring material forthcoming on Drumcode and his own Hardgroove and Theory imprints, plus remixes from the likes of Ben Klock, Adam Beyer, Jerome Sydenham and Cari Lekebusch. Stream and download the mix below, and head to the Fabric website for full event info and to read a short interview with the man himself.
