Apple Pips label boss and Bristol bass figurehead Appleblim has laid down a fantastic 90 minute set for London-based club fabric, ahead of his appearance in Room 1 on the 12th March.
Speaking to the club’s Oli Marlow, the dubstep/house producer talked through his latest work, and his recent collaborations with (amongst others), good friend Al Tourettes: “Al Tourettes and I are working on new stuff together, as well as a remix for upcoming German house dude Axel Boman for Hypercolour; he did a 12” on Koze’s Pampa label which I really liked. It’s sounding really cool, and I’m excited to hear what he does for us in return. Al is one to watch in 2011 and his live set just HAS to be seen, it’s a stonker!”
The mix promises a wealth of exclusives, with only a couple of the tracks currently being available, so you should get a pretty good idea of where ‘Blim’s heading over the next year. You can download the mix and read the full article here.
