The Croatian festival in an underground fort have announced a raft of live performers and DJ’s set to play for them in August.
Leading the way are L.A. based Indie Rock quartet Warpaint who play live alongside Odd Future offshoot The Internet. Theo Parrish, previously announced to DJ, also plays live in what will presumably be a continuation of the show he’s debuting at The Barbican in July. Berghain Techno overlords Marcel Dettmann and Ben Klock both play, with Paul Woolford joining them by DJ’ing under his Jungle influenced Special Request moniker. Dan Snaith, who is already set to play live as Caribou at the opening concert in Pula’s ancient Roman amphitheater to kick off the festival, will be performing under his more electronic Daphni alias. Ever dependable party starters Jackmaster and Oneman take their ‘Can U Dance’ concept to Pula, Night Slugs and Fade To Mind vocalist Kelela plays and Robert Hood drops a barrage of machine funk.
These acts and more join an already very healthy looking list of acts that includes Moodymann, Jon Hopkins, Gilles Peterson and Underground Resistance and many more. For full details on the line up for the festival, which runs 27th to 31st August, check out the flyer below or head over to their official website, where you can also buy tickets.
